Belief: A statement that an individual or group currently classifies as true.
Fact: A statement that a significantly large group currently classifies as true because of the existence of evidence that supports it and the lack of evidence that refutes it.
Hypothesis: A statement that an individual or group tentatively classifies as true, contingent on evidence to the contrary. If the statement is of a type to which the concept of proof is applicable, a hypothesis is implicitly classified as true when a proof for the hypothesis becomes available.
